About the position

The Account Manager for Amazon Business Services plays a crucial role in managing long-term account strategies for high-growth programs. This position focuses on enhancing customer experience and driving business expansion by collaborating with various stakeholders. The role requires strong relationship management skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment. The Account Manager will be responsible for identifying customer priorities, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with business goals, all while communicating effectively with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage long-term account strategy for new, high growth programs.
  • Identify customer account priorities and support expansion opportunities.
  • Establish success criteria and deliver on customer experience to scale the business.
  • Deep dive into issues to determine root causes and partner with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Collaborate with Customer, Product, and Business team members to drive alignment toward goals.
  • Create best practices through SOP creation and playbook enhancements to improve customer experience.
  • Proactively identify, deep dive, and resolve issues that may impair performance and growth goals.
  • Run and contribute to cadenced reporting and narrative including identifying callouts and action items.
  • Make prioritization and trade-off decisions balancing customer experience, business priorities, and resource constraints.
  • Facilitate network-wide rollout of programs and adoption of performance monitoring mechanisms with service providers.
  • Drive multiple programs end-to-end including business goals, expansion plans, and product launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of client or vendor facing roles with a focus in relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
  • Proven experience and proficiency in effective written and verbal communication across multiple leadership levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritization, planning, and task delegation.
  • Ability to think and react in a high energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience owning the design, implementation, and optimization of initiatives at scale.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and sound business judgment.
