About the position

The Account Manager position at Interior Logic Group is a full-time role based in Charlotte, NC, focused on B2B outside sales within the Multi-Family market. The primary responsibility of this position is to grow a sales territory by profitably increasing sales and achieving set targets. The successful candidate will engage in prospecting new accounts while also nurturing and expanding opportunities with existing core customers. This role requires a proactive approach to business development, emphasizing the importance of building and maintaining strong customer relationships. In this position, the Account Manager will be expected to cultivate and develop new business opportunities through creative prospecting techniques. This includes identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions that align with their requirements. Additionally, the role involves maintaining and growing existing customer relationships through regular follow-ups and communication, ensuring that clients feel valued and supported. A key aspect of the job is to measure floor plans and provide accurate pricing by leveraging technology to create custom bids. The Account Manager will be responsible for achieving monthly and quarterly sales and margin targets, which will require a strong focus on performance and results. The ideal candidate will possess a hunter mentality, demonstrating a relentless drive to seek out new business opportunities while also being able to effectively manage and grow existing accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and develop new business opportunities through creative prospecting.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships with follow-up on a scheduled basis.
  • Measure floor plans and provide pricing leveraging technology to create custom bids.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and margin targets.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years prior outside sales experience with a strong hunter mentality.
  • 1+ years in Multi-Family or related trade (property management or sales).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication along with problem-solving ability.
  • Tech savvy with experience in Microsoft products.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable, own reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Flooring knowledge is a plus.
