About the position

Inside Sales & Business Development - MUST Reside in Washington DC Metropolitan Area! We are seeking highly motivated and outgoing individuals to join our Business Development Team for our Washington DC and Northern Virginia territory to help continue our business success, expand our market share, credibility and customer diversity, serve as a valuable source of information for customers and the public and service current customer accounts. As a Business Developer with Tri State Restorations, you will contribute valuable sales and marketing information and strategic recommendations to achieve operational objectives. As a Business Developer with Tri State Restorations, you will help develop, implement and evaluate our commercial service program. You will also help us develop outside sales action plans to grow our market share and success. We are headquartered in Clarksburg, MD. The position we are seeking is for an outside sales person (remote) position in Northern Virginia. Additional tasks of the Business Development position include: Working with current and potential customers in set territory to sell the companies services through various channels and communication methods. Developing and maintaining new relationships with commercial properties and key decision-makers. Close new business relationships. Assisting in the implementation of production, productivity, quality and customer service standards. Solving problems, identifying trends and assisting in determining new inroads for growth. Working with the company executive and staff to determine annual and gross profit plans by assisting in the forecasting and development of annual quotas for specific areas. Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new opportunities. Additional responsibilities of the Business Development position include: Assisting in new marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements. Participate in regular conference calls and report weekly on sales metrics. Forecasting projected business. Establishing targeted market share. Staying very involved in the community through participation in specific trade associations. Acting on revenue goals and contributing to new ones. Taking the lead on setting up and creating relevant programs, classes, and events for our clients. Assist in staff rotating on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years sales or marketing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or better with marketing studies preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of marketing concepts, positioning, sales planning, competitive analysis and product development.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or equivalent software program.
  • Must be a closer with outside sales and/or customer service experience.
  • Working knowledge of social media and emerging technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with Trade Shows (1 or 2 a year) is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Creativity, emotional intelligence and strong critical thinking skills.
