About the position

The Account Manager at Momentum Worldwide will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day operations for the Consumer side of the AbbVie business. This position involves overseeing various projects from brief to execution, ensuring that brand strategies and objectives are met while creating engaging consumer experiences. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience in retail media and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an integral member of the account team for client(s), developing and managing client business.
  • Provide category expertise (CPG, OTC, etc.) and leadership to internal teams to meet client goals.
  • Develop rapport with clients and partner agencies, troubleshooting conflicts as they arise.
  • Lead the development and activation of strategic solutions including sponsorship activation, event marketing, and sales promotions.
  • Plan and execute assignments that are on strategy, on time, and on budget.
  • Deliver polished client presentations and contribute to overall idea generation with the agency team.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of the programs/account(s).
  • Manage and mentor direct report(s), fostering an environment of respect, strategic thinking, and professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4+ years of relevant marketing experience.
  • CPG / Shopper marketing experience required.
  • Agency experience is a plus.
  • Pharma/OTC experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing/training/mentoring junior team members.
  • Proven success in collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong digital and social media skills with an understanding of the digital ecosystem.
  • Highly organized and flexible in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Experience working on large clients/projects with many moving parts.
  • Experience building and managing budgets.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to identify and execute projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in retail media and communications including FSIs, coupons, e-blasts, and other in-store media.
