About the position

The Account Manager, Business Sales at T-Mobile is responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with business accounts, driving sales through solution-based strategies, and identifying new business opportunities. This role focuses on managing existing accounts, minimizing churn, and providing strategic direction on mobility solutions, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead existing set of assigned accounts with primary focus on base management efforts to minimize churn risk.
  • Perform upgrades/device management and provide reporting and billing support.
  • Respond to client issues via email/voicemail and ensure timely delivery of solutions according to customer needs.
  • Track and drive device utilization by training clients and sharing marketing materials.
  • Partner with Client Sales Executive to plan Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) and make recommendations to leadership.
  • Build a business plan on 'land and expand' strategy to identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Identify customer needs and apply solution-based selling techniques to upsell accounts.
  • Assist existing customers with account activities such as adds, changes, and deletes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine in-building coverage and customize technical requirements.
  • Continuously update knowledge of wireless products, services, and industry trends.
  • Fully utilize sales force automation and manage sales funnel reporting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 2-4 years of proven B2B experience selling to accounts as an Account Manager or Account Executive (Required)
  • Sales experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs (Required)
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate and influence key stakeholders at all levels (Required)
  • Proven track record to prioritize multiple account management projects (Required)
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, MS Office) (Required)

  • 2-4 years of wireless, telecom, or technology experience (Preferred)
