About the position

The Account Manager/Collector position at CarHop involves engaging with customers to manage their auto loans, providing support and resolution for delinquent accounts. This role is essential in helping individuals with less-than-perfect credit achieve transportation independence, contributing to the company's mission of changing lives through reliable vehicle access.

Responsibilities

• Placing outbound calls & accepting inbound calls from CarHop Finance customers
• Face to face interaction with customers regarding the status of their auto loan
• Utilizing communication and negotiation skills to resolve delinquent accounts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
• Professional, detail-oriented, well organized and efficient
• Previous customer service experience, face-to-face or call center, is preferred, but not required
• Specific experience in de-escalation, retention, or issue resolution is helpful
• Strong/Advanced negotiation, counseling and problem solving skills
• Must successfully complete pre-employment criminal background inquiry, and results must be consistent with company standards.
