About the position

The Commercial Account Manager for Nevada and Utah at Nutanix is a full-time sales role focused on selling Nutanix products and solutions to commercial customers. This position requires a motivated and experienced sales professional who can effectively engage with clients through a channel partner network, addressing complex business issues with tailored solutions. The role emphasizes collaboration with a Sales Engineer and other support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success post-sale.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Nutanix products and solutions to commercial customers in Nevada and Utah.
  • Collaborate with a Sales Engineer to create customized technical solutions for clients.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to discuss business issues and provide demonstrations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales Operations, and Product Development.
  • Manage relationships with customers and partners to drive sales growth.
  • Develop sales opportunities within partner organizations and support channel sales executives.
  • Provide weekly updates on sales forecasts and pipeline information using SFDC or other CRM tools.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas for multiple years.
  • Experience with territory planning and strategy.
  • Strong understanding of technology products and solutions in relation to business problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and affinity for collaboration and teamwork.
