About the position

The Spectrum Community Solutions (SCS) Account Manager is responsible for negotiating and documenting Rights-of-Entry (ROE) and Renewal Bulk agreements with residential multiple dwelling unit (MDU) properties. This role involves building ongoing relationships with developers, builders, property owners, and management firms while managing a quota of upsells and renewals to maximize product penetration and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales presentations to MDU owners for securing long-term Rights-of-Entry (R.O.E).
  • Negotiate competitive residential service agreements based on strategic, financial, legal, and operational criteria.
  • Interface regularly with high-level clientele including C-Suite Executives, Property Owners, and Developers.
  • Develop proposals and contracts that align with company standards.
  • Keep clients informed of current product offerings, services, rates, and promotions.
  • Work with Sales Engineers and Sales Leadership to qualify new leads and requests for site surveys.
  • Maintain sales databases to report sales activity and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up on all leads and inquiries in a timely manner to provide exceptional customer experience.
  • Coordinate with other internal departments as necessary.
  • Attend meetings, networking events, and training sessions as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of sales experience exceeding revenue quotas, preferably in MDU environments.
  • 3+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating proposals and contracts in cable television, residential property management, or real estate development industries.
  • Recent experience in negotiating long-term R.O.E Agreements with MDU owners.
  • Working knowledge of computer networking, LAN and WAN technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency utilizing CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with automated reporting and analysis applications.
  • Experienced in strategic planning.
