About the position

The Account Manager for Composites is responsible for driving top-line growth by managing existing accounts and prospecting for new business opportunities. This role serves as a critical link between Polynt's resources and customer needs, ensuring that sales goals are met or exceeded through effective account management and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned territory to maximize margin growth, including both direct and distribution accounts.
• Create value by interfacing with assigned accounts to fully maximize sales.
• Build and maintain rapport with key decision-makers at strategically important accounts.
• Develop and implement sales-related actions such as account planning, forecasting, and strategy formation.
• Create and implement 'Action Plans' to maximize volume and profitability in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with Large Account Managers to develop key large accounts within the assigned territory.
• Complete all sales function tasks in a timely manner, including sales call reports and expense reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of Sales, Technical, and/or management experience.
• Fundamental understanding of the Composites Industry and related processes.
• In-depth knowledge of the selling process and company business processes.
• Proficiency in sales management tools including sales planning and forecast modeling.
• Strong presentation skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and listening skills.
• Fluency in English.
