About the position

The Account Manager at Mintel Group Limited is responsible for managing and growing relationships with Emerging & Mid-Market accounts. This role focuses on client retention and growth, ensuring clients achieve their goals through the effective use of Mintel's resources. The Account Manager will work closely with internal teams to deliver return on investment and negotiate contracts, while also identifying new revenue opportunities within assigned accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and growing existing account relationships within an assigned territory.
  • Building a pipeline by leveraging current client relationships to secure additional products or services.
  • Identifying new champions and revenue streams through networking within assigned accounts.
  • Leveraging Mintel's internal resources to grow existing business within the territory.
  • Understanding customer Objectives and Key Results measures.
  • Delivering Creative Business Solutions and proving ROI on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Negotiating and closing contracts to achieve industry-leading renewal rates.
  • Becoming a Product Expert across all Mintel CPG products and services.
  • Creating territory and account level business plans specific to assigned portfolio.
  • Delivering accurate forecasts to sales management.
  • Developing expertise in the consumer packaged goods and market research industries.
  • Delivering consistent and exceptional sales results against targets.
