About the position

The Account Manager at Vestcom plays a crucial role in managing and supporting Retailer and CPG funded Shopper Marketing initiatives. This position involves planning and executing shelf edge campaigns, collaborating with various internal teams, and maintaining relationships with clients to drive sales and engagement. The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of marketing campaigns and ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders involved.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support Retailer and CPG funded Shopper Marketing initiatives leveraging Vestcom Media Solutions (VMS).
  • Plan shelf edge campaigns between CPG and Retailer teams.
  • Drive internal campaign support across Vestcom departments.
  • Support the primary sales team and strategize with clients.
  • Oversee and support the event execution process and coordination of VMS campaigns.
  • Identify and enable continued process improvement and foster adoption of key Vestcom tools.
  • Partner with Sales Directors to plan key client deliverables for the quarter and calendar year.
  • Support Sales Directors on new business initiatives as requested.
  • Customize VMS sales presentation decks to support sales opportunities.
  • Generate leads on New Item support, digital overlays, and shopper theme campaigns.
  • Troubleshoot client questions/concerns by engaging internal team members.
  • Lead meeting follow-ups, issue reports, and create timelines and task lists as needed.
  • Build retailer and CPG relationships to cultivate sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with both client and Vestcom internal event execution stakeholders.
  • Lead and participate in tactical VMS event execution processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years related business experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Previous media/retail promotions industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively problem solve.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
