About the position

The Account Manager at Meijer is responsible for managing a specific segment of business, focusing on developing, executing, and optimizing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and in-store channels. This role is pivotal in driving vendor revenue and achieving category business results while contributing to overall business growth goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own the revenue targets for the specific business and drive vendor revenue and category business results.
  • Manage the category account revenue pipeline to prioritize business opportunities and resources.
  • Collaborate with data & analytics partners to measure the impact of Performance Marketing solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally on the e-commerce search ecosystem, including data, insights, and reporting.
  • Utilize media planning systems and tools such as Adobe, Google, and Criteo to execute campaigns across various media platforms.
  • Create and deliver consultative presentations using industry knowledge and market trends.
  • Act as the key contact for annual planning for specific accounts and program level strategies.
  • Forecast and secure media placements, building media recommendations based on campaign performance.
  • Responsible for category specific campaign set-up, execution, testing, delivery, QA, reporting, and analysis.
  • Authorship and inputs for vendor brand campaign proposals related to various marketing activities.
  • Present strategic recommendations to buyers and vendors based on business and vendor brand objectives.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of previous marketing, media, or sales experience in the retail industry preferred.
  • Strong initiative to drive business results.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts fluidly.
  • Understanding of upper funnel and lower funnel campaign tactics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with presentation skills.
  • Ability to advise partners on best practices and areas of opportunity.
  • Resourceful in maneuvering through a large company in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in any business situation.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required.
