About the position

The Account Manager for Data Center Colocations at Hitachi Energy is a seasoned sales professional responsible for building and expanding relationships with strategically important Data Center customers. This role is critical to the company's strategy, focusing on achieving sales targets, managing pipelines, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Account Manager will represent the full range of Hitachi Energy's products and services, lead account planning cycles, and ensure customer needs are met effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of sales strategies for accounts by providing insights into the customer's current business and long-term plans.
  • Define and propose sales targets and growth margins for the account, ensuring their achievement through structured follow-up processes.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the account plan, including designing executive relationship strategies and coverage plans.
  • Establish and develop account relationships based on a defined strategy.
  • Monitor competitors' activity with each account and formulate appropriate response strategies.

Requirements

  • Master's or bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience in technical sales, engineering, project management, and/or marketing.
  • Preference for a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Experience working with clients in the Data Center market.
  • Permanent work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
