About the position

As an Account Manager for Dry Eye Device at Alcon, you will be responsible for strategizing and prioritizing business efforts within the Great Lakes territory. This role involves leading the entire selling process, consulting with Eye Care practices, and providing training on Alcon products to enhance patient care and practice profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire selling process including prospecting, qualifying, securing new customers, installation, procedure training, and partnering with customers to grow their dry eye business and procedure volume.
  • Consult, uncover and build dry eye capability of Eye Care practices to improve patient care, practice profitability and Alcon profitability.
  • Provide product and technical procedure training and consultation to doctors on the appropriate use of Alcon products.
  • Provide continued customer training, consulting and mentoring as needed.
  • Build and implement sales focused business plans for the assigned territory.
  • Handle the territory financial budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Previous Medical Device experience
  • Validated Eye Care Sales experience
