About the position

The Account Manager for Enterprise Customers at NETSCOUT is a pivotal role responsible for driving sales and achieving quotas within assigned territories. In this role, the Account Manager will be responsible for developing a robust sales pipeline, aiming for a pipeline that is four times the sales quota. This includes constant prospecting in both new and existing accounts, and consistently engaging with multiple levels within the client organizations. Collaboration with Sales Engineers is essential to provide ongoing technical support to accounts, ensuring that customer needs are met effectively. The candidate must be located in the Dallas, TX area and will be expected to follow the company's strategic direction while contributing to the overall success of the sales team. Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quota in assigned territory through direct sales to enterprise customers.
  • Control accounts directly, even if business is booked through channels.
  • Adhere to company policies and ethical guidelines.
  • Follow NETSCOUT's selling process and revenue recognition policy.
  • Understand the customer's business and the impact of NETSCOUT's products.
  • Develop strong relationships and provide coaching within accounts.
  • Create a territory plan with identified F1000 targets.
  • Develop a pipeline of 4X quota and prospect in new or existing accounts.
  • Engage with multiple levels within accounts consistently.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers for ongoing technical support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
  • 8+ years of sales experience in Computer Networking or Service Assurance.
  • 5+ years of experience selling into IT/Data Centers at the C-Level.
  • Quantifiable track record of success demonstrated by territory/professional growth.
  • Solid understanding of technology, market, and client profile.
  • Exceptional and consistent quota achievement history.
  • Proven success with established customers and solid territory knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently with large, complex accounts.
  • Skill in sourcing, pursuing, and closing new business.
