About the position

The Account Manager for Event Guest Relations is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for ensuring that all guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience during events. This position requires a proactive approach to managing guest relations, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise before, during, and after events. The Account Manager will work closely with various departments, including event planning, security, and facility operations, to ensure that all aspects of guest experience are meticulously planned and executed. In this role, the Account Manager will be the primary point of contact for guests, providing them with information about the event, assisting with special requests, and ensuring that their needs are met. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism. The Account Manager will also be responsible for gathering feedback from guests to continuously improve our services and enhance the overall guest experience. Additionally, the Account Manager will oversee the coordination of event logistics related to guest services, including seating arrangements, accessibility accommodations, and VIP services. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team to create memorable experiences for all attendees.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during events.
  • Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with event planning and facility operations to ensure guest needs are met.
  • Gather and analyze guest feedback to improve future events.
  • Oversee logistics related to guest services, including seating and accessibility accommodations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service or guest relations, preferably in an event setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in event planning or management is a plus.

Nice-to-haves
