About the position

The Account Manager role at Esri is designed for individuals who are passionate about geospatial technology and customer success. This position involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and implementing strategies to enhance the adoption of Esri's technology. The Account Manager will work collaboratively within the Global Business Development team to identify growth opportunities and deliver tailored solutions that align with the clients' missions and visions.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with organizations and maintain a healthy pipeline of business growth opportunities.
• Demonstrate industry knowledge relevant to GIS and understand customer budgeting and acquisition processes.
• Articulate the strength and value of Esri technology as it relates to various industries.
• Execute the account management and sales processes effectively for all opportunities.
• Collaborate with teams across Esri to define and execute account strategies.

Requirements

• 1+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience
• Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and various industries as they relate to one another
• Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers
• Understanding of account planning and opportunity strategy creation
• Demonstrated knowledge of various industries and new technology trends
• Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
• Bachelor's in GIS, business administration, or a related field
