About the position

Pendo is seeking a dynamic Account Manager, Growth, to join our Account Management team. This role is crucial for driving performance in the company's core business strategy by focusing on renewing customer relationships and ensuring they have the necessary subscriptions for positive business outcomes. The Account Manager will partner with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure value realization and continued success with their subscriptions, requiring strong sales, operations, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep expertise in Pendo's products and GTM strategy.
  • Research customer contracts and purchasing history to build accurate quotes for renewals.
  • Manage opportunity pipeline and provide accurate forecasts to management.
  • Attain quarterly targets for bookings and renewals.
  • Increase penetration in the book of business through existing and new offers.
  • Participate in account reviews and planning.
  • Manage the transaction process from quote through PO, handling billing disputes and questions.
  • Identify when technical guidance is needed for renewals.
  • Understand customer procurement processes and develop renewal strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in an Account Management position or related function with direct customer interaction.
  • Strong contract negotiation skills for multi-year deals.
  • Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in territory planning and researching customer value propositions.
  • Technology sales experience in a subscription model environment with a proven track record.
  • Competency with sales pipeline management and CRM tools, including Salesforce.
