About the position

The Account Manager for Healthcare Packaging at DuPont is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with strategic partners in the North America Healthcare Packaging market, specifically targeting Medical Device Manufacturers (MDMs) and pharmaceutical companies. This remote position involves driving demand generation, facilitating cross-functional engagements, and developing account strategies to enhance business results and brand awareness. The role requires approximately 50% travel to customer sites and industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand relationships with large and strategic Medical Device Manufacturers (MDM) and mid-size/start-up companies in the North America Healthcare Packaging market.
  • Inspire trust and build sustainable customer relationships to drive the opportunity pipeline.
  • Collaborate to assess and secure business at risk, negotiating contracts for new opportunities.
  • Extend DuPont's value proposition across critical MDM accounts to maximize business results and grow revenues.
  • Create detailed account plans and contact strategies to enhance cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support medical device and pharmaceutical companies in developing a pipeline of targeted opportunities for Tyvek® applications.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with DuPont teams to address customer needs.
  • Engage and participate in regional Healthcare Industry Organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master in STEM field; advanced technical degree preferred.
  • Competency in packaging science, nonwovens, films, coatings, and adhesives.
  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a preference for technical sales experience.
  • Work experience at a major OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
  • Familiarity with technical and regulatory requirements in healthcare packaging.
  • Results-oriented and resilient hunter mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Strong professional presence, business acumen, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Experience with sales pipeline management and CRM tools such as SFDC.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
