About the position
The Account Manager at Mission Healthcare plays a crucial role in driving the growth of the company by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations. Responsibilities
- Manage daily marketing operations and sales calls with referral decision makers.
- Facilitate education on guidelines and agency services provided.
- Participate in community education events and speak to healthcare professionals about services offered.
- Coordinate with physician offices for necessary documentation in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement marketing plans and monitor resource allocation according to budgetary limitations.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Mission Healthcare's markets, including major payor groups and key referral sources.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with referral and payor sources.
- Monitor and report on cost-effective marketing efforts.
- Stay educated and up-to-date on industry and regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare marketing management, preferably in home health.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
- Ability to assertively market and deal tactfully with patients, their families, and the community.
- Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
- Valid driver's license.
