About the position

The Account Manager (HVAC Sales) at Mesa Energy Systems is responsible for driving sales growth by prospecting new accounts, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery. This role involves developing sales presentations, managing pricing and payments, and participating in industry events to enhance the company's market presence.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new accounts and maintain existing client relationships.
• Provide clients with product services and information.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations to clients.
• Manage client pricing, payments, and accounts receivable (A/R).
• Participate in industry and trade shows to promote services.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager and Branch Manager to improve account programs.
• Analyze and implement solution-based programs to maximize sales growth.
• Prepare and review client proposal documents, including financial and technical sections.
• Communicate professionally with various departments within EMCOR/Mesa.
• Commit to personal growth and development through training and professional events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC commercial service or a related field.
• Relevant technical experience in Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance.
• Strong customer presentation skills and sales aptitude.
• Financial acumen, including cost modeling for sales proposals.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office and Excel.
• Competitive nature and articulate communication skills.
• Goal-oriented, ambitious, and high energy.
