The company also operates ShopStyle, a leading fashion discovery destination, and Cartera Commerce, a top rewards platform for airlines and banks. Rakuten Rewards is looking for an experienced Account Manager to partner with our team of Business Development Managers to deliver exceptional client service and support to our merchant partners. The Account Manager will deliver on sales growth for a subset of accounts according to quarterly targets. This role involves partnering with Business Account Managers to create and implement strategic solutions to drive success and results to meet our merchant partners' key performance indicators. The Account Manager will support the retention and expansion of a $15M+ annual portfolio revenue, working cross-functionally with site operations, marketing, and creative teams to ensure commission offers and cash back are implemented correctly, asset requirements are communicated, and campaigns are executed in accordance with insertion orders (IOs). The successful candidate will be adept at understanding client goals and information, tracking proposed solutions and progress against them, and pulling existing reports to organize, interpret, and present results. Analyzing and understanding merchant performance and deal structures, forecasting results, creating campaign proposals, and tracking and presenting results are key components of this role. The Account Manager will also run reports and provide analytics on past and future campaigns, generating reporting in preparation for conferences and client meetings throughout the year. Building and managing relationships with merchants, affiliate networks, and agency partners is essential, as is driving adoption in assigned accounts and identifying new approaches for account support to ensure client satisfaction. The role requires effective communication with broadly distributed team members across multiple time zones and proficiency in SFDC pipeline management, advanced reporting, and tracking in support of incremental revenue. The Account Manager will check inventory availability, run inventory reports, update account records and details in Salesforce, and ensure insertion orders for campaigns are completed and signed, taking screenshots of placements for reporting as required.
