About the position

The Account Manager II at Savvas Learning is responsible for driving sales of pre-K12 curriculum products in the West Tennessee territory. This role involves maximizing revenue, improving market share, and developing growth strategies while collaborating with the Sales Director and RVP. The Account Manager will engage with decision-makers in assigned districts to present comprehensive solutions that enhance student achievement, and will be accountable for achieving sales targets and managing operational budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed the Savvas PreK-12 sales revenue goal in assigned sales and operational expense budgets.
  • Work with the Director and RVP to translate vision and strategy into effective sales actions.
  • Partner with decision-makers within assigned districts to present Savvas solutions.
  • Identify solutions and opportunities in each assigned district and mobilize resources to win business.
  • Develop three-year account business plans including an annual sales plan.
  • Prepare sales and pipeline reports showing secured sales and potential sales.
  • Seek new solutions opportunities for growth in the sales territory.
  • Coordinate field input to product management and marketing groups.
  • Provide accurate information regarding sales activities in assigned states.
  • Build relationships with other Savvas divisions to maximize revenue opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of sales experience highly preferred or a combination of teaching and/or experience in a similar role in edtech.
  • Proven success in consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven experience networking with and influencing decision-makers.
  • Successful sales experience in the educational market is preferred.
  • Ability to drive decision-makers to Savvas sales solutions.
  • Previous success as a strategic sales thinker and communicator.
  • Strong communication skills, both in writing and presentations.
  • Excellent listening skills in delivering customer requested solutions.
  • Ability to achieve established sales objectives.
  • High learning curve for new and existing product lines.
