About the position

The Account Manager II at Renaissance is responsible for managing and selling the company's educational products and services within a designated territory. This role focuses on achieving revenue goals through prospecting, customer renewals, and cross-selling/up-selling opportunities. The Account Manager II serves as the primary contact for customers, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring high product renewal rates while collaborating with Customer Success partners and the Account Executive team.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business, cross/up-sell, and renewal opportunities by engaging multiple decision makers.
• Grow assigned book of business to exceed revenue goals.
• Understand and sell solutions aligned to customers' unique problems and strategic objectives.
• Lead across the account team and partners to develop winning solutions that provide value to customers.
• Close business by developing persuasive presentations and overcoming late-stage deal obstacles.
• Possess deep knowledge of the K-12 education space, including public, private, and parochial schools.
• Build rapport based on factual accuracy and expertise across offerings.

Requirements

• 4+ years of sales experience.
• Proficient in collaboration tools such as Microsoft Outlook and Slack.
• Familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce and MS Dynamics.
• Knowledge of education customers and their organizational structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
