About the position

The Account Manager - Indirect Sales Climate Solutions role at Danfoss focuses on generating sales within the Distribution market segment. The position involves direct engagement with Distribution customers to develop a strong pipeline of new opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and maximize sales to assigned accounts. This remote position is based out of a home office and requires travel throughout the Southeast United States region.

Responsibilities

• Seek opportunities to increase penetration at existing Distribution accounts while identifying prospects for new opportunities.
• Formulate an action plan to grow profitable sales across all Climate Solutions portfolios.
• Work to strengthen the Danfoss-Customer relationship.
• Provide technical and sales support to defined accounts within the sales region.
• Improve Danfoss brand and product awareness within the region.
• Gain a deep understanding of customer applications and become proficient at applying Danfoss products to their applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry-related experience in a technical sales position.
• Bachelor's degree or Vocational/Technical school degree with equivalent HVACR technical background.
• Stable job history that demonstrates a solid track record of performance.
• Strong communication skills with ability to connect with management, technical and non-technical people.
• Polished, confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills required - Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, etc.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and an enthusiastic problem solver with the ability to work independently.
