About the position

The Business Development Representative - Industrial at RCT, part of the EPIROC Group, is responsible for generating sales and developing new business opportunities in the USA for solutions, products, and services related to mobile equipment in the material handling and construction sectors. This role requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to build relationships with customers at various organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales for solutions, products, and services throughout the USA.
  • Develop new business relationships and diversify opportunities.
  • Achieve RCT's objectives in terms of business growth.
  • Form strong relationships with customers from site to corporate level.
  • Develop and retain B2B accounts through solution sales.
  • Present and articulate RCT's technology and its value to customers.
  • Travel regularly throughout the region to meet with clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the MHE industry, Spare Parts, Construction Equipment solutions, or Material Handling.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and background in electrical systems.
  • Proven ability to develop and retain B2B accounts through solution sales.
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Self-starter able to work autonomously as required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the mining and industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with Fleet Management solutions and related technologies.
