About the position

The Account Manager at Bradford Company is responsible for executing sales objectives and policies under the direction of the Vice President of Sales. This role focuses on building and maintaining customer relationships within assigned territories, achieving sales goals, and contributing to the overall corporate objectives. The Account Manager will leverage their knowledge of packaging solutions and market developments to drive sales and optimize profits for the company.

Responsibilities

• Pursue customer and prospect business relationships within assigned territory/accounts to achieve sales goals and strengthen relations.
• Achieve annual sales objectives under the direction of sales management in accordance with corporate objectives.
• Provide input in pricing efforts for key accounts and territories.
• Participate in sales planning, pricing, and selling strategies to maximize gross margins.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and expositions as required.
• Plan and execute sales trips to accomplish approved goals effectively.
• Stay current on technical and market developments related to the company's sales practices.
• Monitor competitive products, services, and selling strategies.
• Recommend specific objectives and priorities for the assigned territory.
• Pursue target accounts/industries following approved priorities.
• Design packaging solutions based on knowledge of packing techniques and company capabilities.
• Assist customers in overall design and recommend packing methods to optimize profits.
• Prepare essential reports including itineraries, sales notes, competitive activity, expense reports, and mileage reports.

Requirements

• Associate degree (AA/AAS) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Four or more years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
