About the position
The Account Manager - Industrial Sales Representative at Snap-on is responsible for selling directly to industrial corporations, leveraging Snap-on's extensive product offerings to develop tailored solutions for business partners. This role involves building and enhancing relationships with key decision-makers, understanding customer needs, and maximizing sales volumes within an established territory.
Responsibilities
- Work intently with business partners to understand their business needs and develop unique solutions.
- Build and enhance relationships with key business partner decision-makers.
- Present solutions on the shop floor or in the field.
- Develop and maintain a Customer Contact and Activity Database for assigned accounts.
- Review customer activities quarterly with Team Leader or Sales Manager to strategize sales growth.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience is required.
- Proven track record of prior goal achievement showing increase in sales and customer growth.
- Bachelor or Associate degree preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
