About the position

The Account Manager at HPC-Industrial is responsible for growing new accounts and maintaining existing ones within a specified book of business. This role emphasizes environmental experience and prioritizes health and safety in all operations. The Account Manager will implement sales strategies, manage profitability, and ensure effective communication between various departments and corporate accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Grow new accounts and expand existing accounts for the assigned book of business.
  • Implement sales plans and obtain signed service agreements for new corporate accounts.
  • Promote communication and coordination between sales, operations, customer service, and customers.
  • Develop and maintain corporate-level communication with corporate accounts.
  • Manage profitability and achieve yearly goals in new business accounts.
  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue objectives and maintain a minimum number of sales calls per week.
  • Identify corporate account locations and direct sales and service personnel as needed.
  • Maintain daily awareness of sales activities and results, and manage contact with clients.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract requirements during customer sales calls.
  • Participate in joint sales calls with local account owners to promote business and provide coaching.
  • Complete annual sales revenue budgets and assist in the collection of invoiced revenue from customers.
  • Manage and control sales expenses and ensure timely submission of business expenses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of industry or relevant experience; environmental experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of State & Federal Waste Codes Regulations as needed.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
