About the position

ProSource Wholesale is currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Account Manager (Inside Sales Professional) to join our team in Salinas, CA. This role is pivotal in helping our trade pro members and their customers successfully complete their projects. As an Account Manager, you will not only be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with current Trade Pro Members but also for proactively reaching out to potential members who are not yet doing business with ProSource. Your goal will be to demonstrate how ProSource can become their primary partner in flooring and cabinets, ultimately helping them grow their business through our membership offerings. In this position, you will be expected to engage with trade professionals by asking insightful questions to understand their business needs, growth goals, and current projects. This understanding will enable you to provide tailored solutions that set ProSource apart from competitors. You will consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring that our trade pros and their clients feel valued and supported. To succeed in this role, you will need to stay informed about industry products, home remodeling trends, and relevant news. ProSource offers extensive training opportunities, including online and classroom sessions, to help you stay at the forefront of the industry. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating our CRM system with accurate information about your members and prospects, demonstrating a sense of urgency and motivation to meet and exceed sales goals. Collaboration with the showroom team is essential, and a positive attitude will contribute to a fun and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with current Trade Pro Members and their clients.
  • Proactively reach out to trade pros who are not currently doing business with ProSource.
  • Understand members' or prospects' business, growth goals, and current projects to provide tailored solutions.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience for trade pros and their clients.
  • Stay informed about industry products, home remodeling trends, and news through training opportunities.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with information about members and prospects.
  • Demonstrate urgency and motivation to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Collaborate with the showroom team to enhance customer service.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and enjoy the job.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in wholesale sales or flooring/kitchen & bath is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • General understanding of technology and the internet.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a big plus.
  • Experience in the flooring industry.
