Edwards Health Care Services (EHCS), a division of GEMCORE, is a well-established and growing national direct-to-home medical supply provider. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager individual to join our high energy team. The Account Manager will focus on increasing the sales of medical supplies through growth of referral sources and relationship building with healthcare professionals. The Account Manager role will call on Physicians, Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist, Manufacturer Territory Managers, doctor office managers, and other partners. We offer growth opportunities with potential for advancement. This position is based out of Hudson, OH. Schedule is 8:15am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Employer paid vacation. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with direct sales representatives, healthcare manufacturers, healthcare professionals, and other healthcare partners.
  • Use consultative sales techniques in identifying new opportunities and presenting solutions to referrals, prescribers, and prospects.
  • Increase revenues and product categories by prescribers and healthcare professionals.
  • Active pursuit of all healthcare service providers.
  • Utilize Brightree to monitor account activity and manage prospects.
  • Understand and support sales policies, as well as, following proper sales protocols and Medicare mandates.
  • Be knowledgeable of all payer guidelines- Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurances.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently to achieve desired results.
  • Strong communication skills within a cross-functional team.
  • Strong telephone presence and experience in outbound calling.
  • Proficient with all MS Office Products and other web presentation tools.
  • Excellent computer skills with the desire to communicate with the end user.
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening and presenting skills.
  • Possess effective time management skills.
  • Superior relationship building skills needed.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales organization or healthcare environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
