About the position

Beemac Logistics is seeking a dynamic and competitive Account Manager for Inside Sales to join our growing team in Pittsburgh, PA. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to build a successful career in the transportation logistics industry, with the potential to earn a six-figure income within just 18 months. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a book of business, acting as the single point of contact for all customer needs. This role requires a blend of entrepreneurial spirit and customer service expertise, as you will be expected to forge new relationships and enhance existing ones through effective communication and strategic thinking. In this position, you will engage in various day-to-day functions that include calling existing customers to increase sales through Partnership Selling, prospecting for new business, and collaborating with operations to manage and track loads. You will also negotiate rates with carrier partners and valued clients, utilizing multiple communication channels such as telephone, email, and instant messaging. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, be detail-oriented, and have a competitive drive to continually grow their book of business. Responsibilities

  • Call existing customers and utilize Partnership Selling to increase sales.
  • Prospect new business and forge new relationships daily.
  • Work with operations to build and track loads.
  • Negotiate rates with carrier partners and valued clients.
  • Utilize multiple forms of communication such as telephone, e-mail, instant messenger, and other support software.

Requirements

  • A College Degree is preferred, but relevant advanced sales or industry experience will be considered.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
  • Must possess the qualities of an entrepreneur with strong independent and teamwork skills.
  • High energy and enthusiasm.
  • Driven by a high moral and ethical compass.
  • Willingness to conduct and build your business confidently over the telephone and face-to-face.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the transportation logistics industry.
