About the position

PromoCentric is seeking an experienced and motivated Account Manager to join our team in Newmarket, NH. The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, focusing on building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers, developing new business from existing clients, and actively seeking new sales opportunities. The primary goal is to retain clients and grow their accounts over time. Account Managers may be responsible for finding new business, managing assigned prospects, or a combination of both. Responsibilities may include quoting, project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are seasoned in the industry to maximize our potential within accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building long-lasting relationships.
  • Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers and develop new business from existing clients.
  • Actively seek new sales opportunities and manage online store programs as assigned.
  • Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts through phone and email interactions.
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships.
  • Present products to prospective clients and provide professional after-sales support.
  • Remain in frequent contact with clients to understand their needs and respond to complaints.
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive in the Promotional Products Industry.
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office (especially Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain cool under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about the role.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS or BA in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing.
  • 3+ years of sales experience, ideally in promotional merchandise sales.
  • Previous B2B sales experience.
  • Experience working within a CRM.
