About the position

The Account Manager for AWS's ITS vertical will play a crucial role in driving business growth by managing relationships with key customers and partners. This position involves setting long-term strategies and executing daily tasks to expand AWS's presence within identified accounts. The Account Manager will collaborate with various internal teams and engage with C-level executives to facilitate digital transformation and service implementation, ensuring alignment with both customer needs and AWS business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and other stakeholders within customer organizations.
  • Develop and manage opportunities to drive business growth for AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and implement strategies.
  • Advocate for customer interests while aligning with AWS business goals.
  • Facilitate new service adoption and develop new lines of business.
  • Conduct research and prepare for customer meetings and calls.
  • Ensure timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 14+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives.
  • Ability to drive accounts independently and close the complete sales cycle.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with high-level business stakeholders.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Exposure to working with ISVs and/or other CSPs.
