About the position

The Kroger/Harris Teeter Account Manager at Ornua is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders to enhance the competitiveness and market share of Ornua Foods North America. This role involves implementing strategic account operating plans, managing customer trade investments, and driving the distribution of Kerrygold products at Kroger and Harris Teeter. The position is crucial for fostering collaboration and ensuring a best-in-class partnership experience with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective strategic joint business plans to deliver against KPIs.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage customer trade investment.
  • Act as primary selling interface at Customers' headquarters with key decision makers.
  • Sell new and expanded distribution of Kerrygold items at both Kroger & Harris Teeter.
  • Identify opportunities to grow volume/increase share at both Kroger & Harris Teeter.
  • Champion multi-functional resources to successfully implement key strategies and execute with excellence.
  • Deliver a best-in-class partnership experience through effective communication.
  • Partner with other areas of Ornua Global to ensure a consistent customer experience.
  • Solve problems independently and proactively.

Requirements

  • A relevant Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years sales account experience in the CPG industry.
  • 3+ years of account experience with Kroger preferred.
  • Must be proficient in working with 84.51 Stratum & syndicated data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective influencing, selling, and negotiating/problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build best in class customer presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong and proven leadership qualities with cross-functional exposure/experience.
  • Track record of building and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
