About the position

The Account Manager position at CoreWeave is a managerial role focused on leading a team of Account Managers during a critical growth phase for the company. The role involves mentoring team members, ensuring they meet performance goals, and collaborating with various departments to enhance customer success. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and be responsible for strategic direction, team culture, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a group of 3-5 Account Managers and provide them with mentorship.
  • Ensure the team exceeds goals in upsell, renewals, retention, activation and customer health.
  • Cultivate and maintain a high-performing team culture.
  • Enhance team output and efficiency by optimizing systems and processes.
  • Create forecasts and analyze performance data.
  • Develop and execute career development and leadership programs.
  • Oversee daily activities and quota performance management of individual Account Managers to ensure key performance metrics are met.
  • Build dashboards in Salesforce and other tools to monitor customer success and team performance.
  • Hire and train new Account Managers quickly on solutions, personas, competition, tools, training and role-plays.
  • Coach and mentor on sales skills, call feedback and lead enablement.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience building and leading high performing sales or account management teams with a proven track record of exceeding goals.
  • Success in fast-paced, results-oriented GTM environments, ideally with Enterprise companies.
  • 5+ years of quota-carrying sales or account management experience selling to Enterprise Orgs as an individual contributor, with a proven track record of exceeding goals.
  • Strong executive presence - very comfortable with C-level executives, especially CTOs.
  • Proficient in using data and analytics for decision-making process improvement to scale the team and enhance efficiency.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to recruit top talent and thoughtful approach to team planning and development.
  • Proven track record of negotiating, structuring, and executing complex sales agreements.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.
