The Account Manager - Merchant Services at Intuit is a pivotal role focused on driving growth and safeguarding revenue for customers in the merchant services domain. Responsibilities

  • Engage deeply with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Recommend optimal solution stacks to propel customer businesses forward.
  • Collaborate with Intuit's support partners and resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage a large pipeline of prospects through Salesforce and support multiple partners in the sales process.
  • Articulate Intuit's value propositions within the QuickBooks Online Ecosystem.
  • Deliver recommendations focused on ROI and leverage tools effectively.
  • Maintain a sustainable sales cycle to achieve quarterly targets.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to influence the buying process and navigate complex selling processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of fintech/payments experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of quota-carrying software or technology sales in the merchant services industry.
  • Prior sales experience with accounting, ERP, or other financial management software is preferred.
  • Experience selling merchant services across various industries with strategic positioning against customer challenges.
  • Familiarity with merchant service industry standards related to rates, cost analysis, and risk management.
  • Deep understanding of Account Receivable and Account Payable processes related to money movement.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing a large pipeline of prospects through Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in utilizing key sales methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, Solution, or Sandler.
  • Understanding of the client management lifecycle and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Track record of collaborating and influencing in a sales team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred.
