About the position

As a Senior Digital Sales Consultant at Intuit, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and safeguarding revenue for our customers in the merchant services domain. This position emphasizes deep customer engagement, understanding their needs, and recommending tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. You will collaborate with support partners and leverage cutting-edge technology to enhance customer success and contribute to the company's mission of disrupting the small business mid-market segment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage deeply with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Recommend optimal solution stacks to propel customers' businesses forward.
  • Collaborate with Intuit's support partners and resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage a sales funnel and maintain a sustainable sales cycle to meet quarterly targets.
  • Articulate Intuit's value propositions within the QuickBooks Online Ecosystem.
  • Measure success through key metrics including quota attainment, close rates, and pipeline velocity.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing customers' businesses with strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of fintech/payments experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of quota-carrying software or technology sales in the merchant services industry.
  • Prior sales experience with accounting, ERP, or other financial management software is preferred.
  • Experience selling merchant services across various industries with a strategic positioning against customer challenges.
  • Familiarity with merchant service industry standards related to rates, cost analysis, and risk management.
  • Deep understanding of Account Receivable and Account Payable processes related to money movement.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing a large pipeline of prospects through Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in utilizing key sales methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, Solution, or Sandler.
  • Understanding of the client management lifecycle and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Track record of collaborating and influencing in a sales team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with strategic sales positioning against customer challenges.
  • Familiarity with financial management software.
