About the position

The Account Manager for Middle Market at CVS Health is responsible for proactive account management and developing strong relationships with existing customers in the Middle Market segment. This role supports the Account Executive and serves as an expert in plan benefits, account setup, and operations, ensuring effective service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provides proactive account management and develops strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Supports the Account Executive in managing accounts in the Middle Market segment.
  • Identifies service issues and leads resolution efforts in collaboration with other areas.
  • Delivers Aetna policy, plan design, and benefit changes to constituents, including impact analysis.
  • Collaborates with the account management team to achieve growth and renewal objectives.
  • Assists in the preparation and delivery of renewal packages.
  • Manages plan administration activities such as installation, open enrollment, and eligibility.
  • Signs off on ID cards and assists in constituent training on product and policy questions.
  • Responds to customer requests for network analysis and benefit plan design changes.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in an Account Management environment within the Health Insurance Industry.
  • Experience in client relationship management.
  • Experience in leading Open Enrollment strategies.
  • Experience in monitoring and report management.
  • Active Health & Life Insurance license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Must be located in the North East Region.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous Account Management experience with a Health plan carrier.
  • 5+ years of employee benefit industry knowledge of health insurance.
  • Experience in sales and account management at an insurance carrier or consulting firm.
