About the position

The Major Military Account Manager at Qorvo is responsible for managing and expanding strategic relationships with a key defense contractor, focusing on RF and MMIC products and advanced packaging services. This role involves aligning technology solutions with customer needs to enhance operational effectiveness and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer engagement and business development activity with a major Defense contractor.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships, understanding customer needs and challenges.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by developing relationships with customers' engineering, R&D, program management, supply chain, and executive leadership teams.
  • Work closely with Qorvo business unit teams to develop strategies that expand market share and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Provide expert knowledge of RF and MMIC products as well as advanced packaging technologies to clients.
  • Lead negotiation efforts for large contracts and strategic agreements, ensuring compliance with military specifications and regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and production teams to ensure client orders are fulfilled with high quality and within timelines.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to advise on potential impacts and opportunities for the business.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on account status, challenges, and future opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, ideally within the defense industry focused on RF/MMIC technologies.
  • Strong technical understanding of RF, MMIC products, and advanced packaging services.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key military stakeholders, including procurement and technical staff.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
