About the position

The Account Manager for Named Enterprise at Fortinet is responsible for managing and driving direct sales engagements within a designated territory. This role focuses on both existing accounts and new logo prospects, aiming to achieve sales goals through strategic planning and relationship building with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement territory plans to attain deployments of Fortinet products and services.
  • Develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers to achieve quarterly sales goals.
  • Generate a sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and accurately forecast pipeline.
  • Coordinate with internal groups to generate and deliver winning Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work.
  • Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve win/win results for ongoing relationships.
  • Build and promote the Company's position as the leader in Unified Threat Management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years prior sales experience in technology sector.
  • Proven ability to sell solutions with a track record of quota achievement.
  • Excellent presentation skills to executives and individual contributors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in network security and knowledge of VPN, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Intrusion Prevention, and Content Filtering.

Nice-to-haves

  • Graduate degree preferred.
