About the position

The Account Manager, Network Partnerships role at Sun Life Financial is focused on managing key relationships with leased network partners. This position is essential for ensuring client retention, identifying growth opportunities, and optimizing revenue streams. The Account Manager will collaborate with various teams to deliver exceptional service and proactive solutions, thereby strengthening network relationships and enhancing overall client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the management of key leased network partner relationships.
  • Ensure client retention and identify growth opportunities.
  • Optimize revenue streams through effective relationship management.
  • Act as a liaison between Sun Life networks and their leasing clients.
  • Resolve provider claims and network access issues from discovery to resolution.
  • Develop reporting methodology and analyze Network Utilization trends.
  • Manage and mitigate changes in volume and identify risks such as service gaps.
  • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly check-ins with leasing customers.
  • Oversee the annual CDT fee update project with internal partners and lease clients.
  • Provide business support during the implementation process for new networks.
  • Collaborate with IT partners and external lease partners to manage network files.
  • Maintain an overview and rules of engagement for each network partner.
  • Stay updated on the evolving healthcare landscape and related trends.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience working with network partnerships or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the Network business and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with network partners.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop reporting methodologies.
  • Experience in resolving complex customer inquiries and issues.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid and CHIP programs.
  • Knowledge of provider data consolidation processes.
