About the position

The Account Manager - OEM for Mobile and Industrial Markets is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers in the OEM sector. This role focuses on achieving sales targets and expanding market share by identifying new opportunities and delivering exceptional service and product knowledge to customers. The position is remote, allowing for flexibility while requiring significant travel to customer sites and manufacturing locations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the OEM Mobile and Industrial markets.
  • Identify new opportunities to build profitable market share and competitive advantage.
  • Utilize product and application sales tools to drive sales of new products and applications.
  • Maintain a strong, regular customer presence with travel to customer sites and Pall manufacturing locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Chemical or other biological sciences.
  • Experience in providing products and services to OEM Mobile and Industrial Customers or experience as a hydraulic/project/manufacturing engineer at a Mobile/Industrial OEM.
  • Knowledge of mobile OEM manufacturing space, including hydraulics, cylinders, hoses, etc.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel as required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Outstanding presentation, negotiation, troubleshooting, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Prior experience with sales funnel management (salesforce.com or equivalent).
  • Experience executing at each stage of the sales process and guiding others in developing selling skills.
  • Understanding of customers' key business drivers.
