About the position

The Account Manager / Outside Sales position at Spencer Fluid Power involves establishing and expanding relationships with current and prospective customers within a designated territory in Eastern Washington. Responsibilities

  • Confer with customers and factory representatives to assess equipment needs based on application requirements.
  • Achieve sales and profit goals by developing existing customers, opening new business, and ensuring customer retention.
  • Conduct sales and service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals, follow up and negotiate terms, and close transactions.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of industrial outside sales experience.
  • Fluid Power or Power Transmission background preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proven experience maintaining an existing customer base while developing new business.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.
