About the position

The Account Manager (Outside Sales) position at Corley Oaks Distribution is designed for a motivated individual who will cultivate and nurture partnerships with customers in the Midland/Odessa area. This role focuses on enhancing sales performance by providing solutions, maintaining customer satisfaction, and building strong relationships while ensuring a work-life balance. The position offers a base salary of $60,000 plus bonuses and participation in an annual profit-sharing program.

Responsibilities

• Visiting all stores in the designated area to sell new accounts and identify new opportunities.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction concerning sales of all company products and services.
• Providing a positive and professional image for the company.
• Maintaining an accurate customer account list and constant contact with established customers.
• Maintaining or exceeding assigned sales volume and profit margin while keeping up to date with industry changes.
• Providing weekly schedules with specific customers visited and submitting weekly reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Developing new sales strategies and promoting the sales of Corley Oaks Distribution.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree in Business with a Major in Sales or Marketing preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience required.
• Experience in the janitorial/paper industry preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
• Ability to understand the needs of business accounts and convert those needs into sales.
