About the position

The Account Manager/Outside Sales Representative at Milton Rents is responsible for the sales and rental of industry-leading equipment within a defined geographic territory. This role involves daily travel to meet customers, visit job sites, and build strong relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth. Responsibilities

  • Sell and rent industry-leading equipment including Caterpillar earthmoving machines, aerial equipment, and generators.
  • Meet with customers and visit job sites regularly to build relationships and understand their needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Utilize independent judgment to make decisions that benefit both the customer and the company.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in field sales or a sales internship.
  • Experience in construction equipment sales and rentals is a plus.
  • Clean and valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
