About the position

The Account Manager/Outside Sales position at Packaging Personified involves managing and maintaining customer relationships while promoting the company's flexible packaging capabilities. The role requires a strong focus on customer service excellence and the ability to resolve issues to strengthen partnerships. This position offers a combination of base pay and uncapped commission, along with a company car allowance and in-house training.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain customer relationships promoting Packaging Personified capabilities and performance.
  • Resolve problems to strengthen partnerships with customers.
  • Communicate with prospective customers to understand their needs and validate opportunities.
  • Gather necessary information related to service and product requirements for internal stakeholders.
  • Develop a working knowledge of internal systems and procedures to support delivery of goods and services.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems or support their resolution.
  • Attend trade shows as necessary.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and co-workers.

Requirements

  • 5 years minimum work experience in B2B Industrial Sales, preferably in flexible packaging.
  • Understanding of flexible packaging including printed and unprinted side-weld bags and roll stock.
  • Ability to negotiate with customers to win sales opportunities and resolve challenges.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
