About the position

The National Accounts Manager will maintain strong relationships with key customers, identify decision makers, and understand their business challenges to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue streams. This role involves growing new business through various methods, including cold calling and networking, while ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction. The position requires monitoring global sales activities and adjusting strategies to foster business growth, with a focus on collaboration with sales and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Uncover opportunities for new business within assigned territory by cultivating leads and applying your networks
  • Design customized presentations to showcase the company's services to decision makers and close new business
  • Build revenue streams with current customers and evaluate opportunities to increase the relationship through face-to-face visits, problem solving, and administrative follow-up
  • Help businesses improve their relationships with customers
  • Ensure high post-sale satisfaction and positive long-term relationships
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to improve sales and revenue growth within territory
  • Manage and build overall customer relationships by coordinating and leading the activities of customer-focused teams
  • Development of strategies to increase sales penetration and profits in assigned accounts
  • Identify business opportunities and assess customer needs, matching them with the company's services to acquire key national accounts
  • Partner with the regional management team to coordinate customer requests and services that are being promoted
  • Develop customized presentations for various decision-making audiences to close on new business.

Requirements

  • 2-10+ years of Outside Sales experience
  • Strong business acumen
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred, if the candidate has less than 5 years of Sales/industry experience
  • Previous Business-to-Business (B2B) Sales experience, preferably selling services
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel; additional experience with a CRM system is preferred
  • Proven sales experience selling large, national account, multi-location business strongly preferred.
