About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Singer Industrial is responsible for driving sales efforts within a designated territory, managing customer accounts, and providing innovative solutions to meet customer needs. This role emphasizes building strong relationships with clients and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Grow market share in a designated territory with existing and new customers.
• Contact customers and prospective customers through appointments and cold calls.
• Work with a variety of contacts at customer locations, including Maintenance, Purchasing, Planners, Engineers, and Safety personnel.
• Coordinate with the inside sales team to deliver quotes, products, and services that exceed customer expectations.
• Strengthen relationships with customers and understand their needs.
• Provide on-site expertise, solve problems, and make product recommendations.
• Attend training and sales meetings to stay current with new products and promotions.
• Accurately use CRM for managing customer interactions.
• Coordinate customer training sessions.
• Investigate and resolve issues with customer deliveries.
• Maintain professionalism in the workplace.

Requirements

• Sales experience in the hose and fitting or other industrial distribution sector.
• Highly self-motivated individual.
• Previous experience with CRM systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Ability to effectively negotiate on behalf of the company without sacrificing quality.
• Ability to coordinate and handle large volumes of work while meeting customer delivery expectations.
