About the position

TruckPro LLC is looking for a Parts Outside Sales Account Manager for our St. Louis location. The Parts Account Manager / Outside Sales is responsible for building, establishing, and maintaining customer relationships to grow sales and gross profit margin, as well as overall profitability. This position will be held accountable for the effective and efficient utilization of time, equipment, materials, or personnel of a small group. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, focusing on both existing and new customers to drive business growth. In this position, the Account Manager will maintain and increase sales to existing customers within the assigned territory. This involves analyzing customer needs to identify additional sales opportunities and maintaining and growing strategic accounts at a local level. The Account Manager will also be responsible for developing and executing sales plans and goals designed to increase sales, profits, market share, and minimize expenses. Identifying and establishing new accounts is a key responsibility, along with maintaining and upgrading selling skills and technical/product knowledge for all TruckPro products, services, and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales, with a focus on heavy-duty parts knowledge and experience. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are essential, as is a customer service-oriented mindset. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is also required for this role. TruckPro LLC prides itself on being one of the nation's largest independent distributors of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, with over 150 retail locations and 80 maintenance and repair service locations nationwide. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and increase sales to existing customers in assigned territory

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing or related field (preferred)
  • 3 years experience in outside sales, operations or related field
  • Heavy duty parts knowledge/experience
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience, e.g., Salesforce
  • Understanding and utilization of the principles of Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)
  • Excellent communication (oral & written)
  • Customer service oriented
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record
